Having worked in the Finance industry as a Chartered accountant, Business Partner and Project accountant for the best part of 18 years, Marina has been involved in multiple and ambitious investment programmes, providing accurate and timely reporting to internal and external stakeholders through management information to support decision making, ensuring that regulatory and statutory reporting requirements are met.
She has held multiple positions including Senior Project Accountant, and has been involved in the design, build and testing of models to forecast the impact on cost changes to projects, the provision of analysis and insight to clients; ensuring that processes and numbers are robust, controlled, accurate, reconciled and understood.
With her experience supporting Finance Project Leads on transformation projects and responsible for partnering with Senior Project Leadership Teams, Marina has been involved in the design, implementation and maintenance of complex bespoke financial models to assist in the delivery and monitoring of projects.
Having played a key part in supporting the delivery of long term Cost Management Strategies and liaising with business functions at various levels, she has the skills and expertise to analyse, and present findings and reports to senior management and executive committees, to the required standards, providing evaluation and insight for future organisational decisions.
Over the years of working in the finance industry, Marina has acquired the skills to ensure project leads have access to the right level of financial advice and support necessary to meet project milestones, ensure robust financial reporting across projects, analyse project expenses and provide commentary, investigate and highlight project variances to the relevant stakeholders and support the forecasting of projected financial costs/benefits for projects.
